
The book of Acts is a book of changes found in the New Testament. While reading this book we find that religion as it once was is changing because the waited for Messiah has come, and has died for us. We find the people who were accepted by God were changing also. The grace of God was no longer just for the Jewish nation, it is for all people who willingly accept it. We found that the gathering of the saints for spiritual strengthening was changing as well. People no longer gathered at the tabernacle to draw near to God, rather they began meeting in homes, and in small groups. Instead of focusing on the dwelling place of God, these Jesus followers were focused on each other. They realized that they no longer went to church; rather the church went inside of them.
